Jennifer “Jenni” Custer

Jenni is an experienced educator and CPS parent living on the Northwest Side. She is dedicated to ensuring every child receives a quality education by fully funding neighborhood schools and providing wraparound services.
An Experienced Educator
Jenni has a rich history in education. She has spent 10 years in the classroom as a Language Arts teacher in Itasca Public Schools, 2 years as president of her union (Itasca Education Association, IEA), 2 years as Dean of Students, and 2 years as an Assistant Principal, before leaving to dedicate her time raising her children, who go to Josephine Lock School. With her years of classroom and administrative experience, she knows how to best represent the voices of the 1st District!
